The Rev. Dr. Laura Marie Piotrowicz joined the St. John’s family in January 2019. A high-energy priest with extensive experience in parish ministry, she has served at the diocesan, national, and international levels. With a deep love of the gospel, her professional interests include prayer, faith formation for all ages, and social, ecological, and gender justice. She is often found in the company of her dogs, canoeing or hiking, writing her weekly blog everydaychristianity, or cheering on the Winnipeg Jets.
The Rev. Linda holds an Honours B.Sc. in Dietetics with a minor in philosophy, as well as her Master of Divinity from Atlantic School of Theology. Ordained in 1985, she has served the church in many capacities, with a focus on prayer and spiritual development. We are thrilled to include her in the ministry team at St. John’s. In her own words: “In my marriage, parenthood, widowhood, and priesthood I have delighted in exploring recipes and the meaning in life. So I have laboured to feed the body as well as the soul. Simple things give me joy. There is always enough LOVE to go around. Hope is the fruit of compassion in my life.”
