Music has always provided a connection with God: it lifts our spirits, speaks to our souls, dances within our being and brings us into communion with God and one another.

We have an extensive music ministry at St. John’s. In addition to our chancel choir enriching our regular services, we have a congregational choir for special events, a hand bell choir, and a chimer for the large bells.

We also host Music and Meditation mini-concerts on Wednesdays throughout the summer months and liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent; welcoming the community to a variety of musicians and musical styles. St John’s is further privileged to welcome Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, Boxwood Festival, and Musique Royale into our space for festivals, workshops and concerts.
