Concerts at St. John's Anglican Church
Winter and Spring
2011-2012
Musical outreach through St. John’s Arts Alliance serves the broader community with a substantial program of concerts and events. These activities include various presentations through the St. Cecilia Concert Society, including the Symphony on the Shore Series. St. John’s is the home base for Musique Royale, an early music festival which presents concerts in historic venues throughout the province. Lunenburg’s Boxwood Festival and Workshop, under Chris Norman’s artistic direction, has been a part of Musique Royale’s summer season since 2007.
St. John's enjoys a broad association of music programs. Our Music Director, Organist and Choir Director, Barbara Butler brings a wealth of connections to the church that enriches the ministry of music here.
