Sunday School and Youth Ministry

Caring for and educating our children is a vital ministry at St. John’s.

St. John's Sunday School meets every Sunday morning at 10.30 a.m. at the Parish Hall from September to mid May.

The format of the Sunday School includes group prayer, music, activities and lessons based upon the Scripture readings for Sunday, thus providing a link between what the children learn in Sunday School and what the adult community hear in Church. The Sunday School joins the worshipping community at the time of the Offertory and enters into worship.  Children are encouraged to share in Holy Communion with their parents and families. A special Sunday Family Bulletin provides material for families to take home and use throughout the week. This year, there are about fifty children registered and have five teachers.
